What to do if you need to return an item
We want you to be happy with everything you buy from IndependentBoutique.com If for any reason you are not then arranging a refund or an exchange is simple.
All our designers adhere to the following returns policy when agreeing to sell on IndependentBoutique.com
You most notify the designer that you want to return any item, except those which are non-refundable, within 7 days of receiving the goods. Receipt of goods shall be deemed as 2 working days following the dispatch of the item by the Designer.
Any item returned must be returned within 7 days on notifying the designer of the return of goods, items returned within this time limit will be eligible for a full refund or exchange to the same value as the returned item (subject to conditions - see below).
Please ensure the following conditions have been adhered to in order to receive your full refund:
- the item is in the same condition as it was when it was dispatched by the Designer.any item of clothing, shoes or jewellery remains unworn or any other item remains unused.
- the packaging of the item must be in a reasonable condition.
- the designer cannot take responsibility for any item lost in the post so please ensure you return items safely.
Where you make contact to return an item within the above timescale you are responsible for payment of delivery charges
The following products are the non-refundable items referred to above:
- Personalised items specially made for you with your choice of name, fabric or any other customised aspect.
- Personal products such as underwear, earrings.
- Gift vouchers.
How to return a product
All items bought from IndependentBoutique.com are sent directly from our Designers. Therefore you must contact the Designer through your account on the site and advise of the return before sending any item.
You must contact the designer via the 'my account' page where you will be able to access your orders page.
Select the order that relates to the item that you wish to return or exchange. You will then be able to contact the designer of the item you wish to return or exchange.
You must have contacted the designer and agreed a refund within 7 days of receiving the goods. Receipt is deemed to be 2 working days following our designer dispatching the item. The item must be returned to the brand within 7 days of notifying the brand of the return. .
Unless the goods are faulty the cost of the return postage will be at your expense.
Ensure you obtain proof of postage. We do not accept responsibility for items lost in the post.
Refunds will only be made to the card you used to purchase the item. We will ensure that the refund or exchange is made within 14 days of receiving the goods.
