Designer Profile

**NEW COLLECTION COMING SOON**

Kate Dumbleton, from Cardiff, has been fascinated by jewellery making from an early age. While still at school she learnt silver jewellery techniques from a local jeweller. After exploring jewellery design and art during travels in Japan she went to London to study formally. In 1993 she graduated from London Guildhall University with a Degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing. Kate set up business soon after and quickly drew positive attention from press, stylists and international buyers.

Over the last 17 years her work has featured in fashion and national press such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Sunday Times and The Observer. It has been worn on the Oguri catwalk and by Kylie Minogue. Collections have been stocked in prestigious stores worldwide.

Kate also works as a freelance designer/jewellery trend consultant, clients have included Next, Clogau Gold and Swarovski. Now based back in Wales she is currently working on a special project for the National Museum.

Her work is inspired by nature, global cultures and art. The jewellery is made of sterling silver, gold fill and plated silver and brass with semi precious and crystal details.
