As we dwell over the summer that barely was and enter a new season, it is time to have an update of the wardrobe, as the old, new and updated trends come out to play. At London Fashion Week A/W 2012 there was an array of trends that will be key to your autumn/winter collection. And the one I introduce to you today is Lace Appliqué.
So what is it?
Brought to our attention by the designs of Mulberry, Erdem and Moschino to name a few, Lace Appliqué is the art of applying decorative lace onto another material adding a delicacy and sophistication to any outfit. This season it makes a shift from the soft colours of spring to the warm colours of autumn, and everyone is catching on.
