Basking in sunshine, music, fashion -  it's been getting us in the mood for our own festival season where fringing and florals are standard attire. The British festival season is renowned for producing some classic looks and style icons from Sienna Miller's boho beauty, Kate Moss's rock star chic or Florence Welch's ethereal glamour. Read on for our Summer festival hot picks:

And Alice takes a trip brings a dark twist to your average cat t-shirt giving you the gothic edge.

Brand Focus: Suicide Blonde - Embrace The Dark Side

Tuesday, April 9th, 2013

As the name suggests, ‘Suicide Blonde’ are a brand which holds more than a hint of the macabre. In the brands own words, this is communicated via ‘’distinctive digitally printed imageries and themes’’ which may not appeal to all fashion quarters, but for those who fancy a little bite with their style sandwich, Suicide Blonde serves up vampire paraphernalia, neon brights and the odd skull thrown in for good measure! No item is dull; every piece is injected with its own distinctive splash of gothic edge and theatricality, be it the dark crackle texture on the large wallets or the plaster effect that seemingly pastes the fang imagery to the pouch and shopper. All Suicide Blondes’ products are handmade in the UK in the most sustainable way to prove they aren’t all sharp fangs and ghostly shadows!

suicide-blonde-card-holder-in-neon-fuschia-textured-leatherPack a punch when wearing a neat LBD by accessorizing with the Card Holder in Neon Fuschia Textured Leather - £105.00! I love the hot fuschia hue which emits an almost cartoon-like feel but still remains girly and on-trend. Bold colours were all over the 2013 catwalks and stars such as Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian and Rihanna have all been spotted rocking neon brights and this distinctive card keeper that will add a spunky edge to its user whether you are brave enough to immerse yourself in this trend head-to-toe, or simply want to give it an appreciative nod. Trend Alert: Emerald Rules SS13

Friday, April 5th, 2013

It's time we all got into the green. Emerald has been named THE colour to be seen in this Spring/Summer season. It works great with practically all skin tones and eye colours so it's definitely a keeper! Give a subtle nod to the trend using punchy emerald accessories or go bold and dress head-to-toe - get your green on!

We begin with this amazing Molpe Jumpsuit from Tramp in Disguise's SS collection. The print was inspired by sea corals  and would be the perfect outfit for a spur of the moment sunny getaway. A quirky rubber Tiger Necklace from Caipora Jewellery and an ocean green Rossetti Croco from Cheet London complete the look. (more...)
